MERRY CHRISTMAS!

1. 'Twas on a night, so long ago, The angels sang of love and peace on earth.
That Holy Child was born for us! To teach us how to love, with joy filled, peace filled hearts.
A gift of God;
Love born that night.

2. The chill of night, and hatred cold, was warmed by God that night with treasure giv'n;
That little Child born for us all, Gave hope forevermore, and strength do we implore.
The star foretold;
Love born that night.

3. What have we learned, Christ lived with us. The stories tell of faith, hope, charity.
The Holy Child will come again, And there'll be peace on earth, Glory to Christmas' birth.
It started then;
